CrowdStrike CrowdStream
CrowdStrike and observability startup Cribl unveiled a new product called CrowdStream at RSAC 2023, which aims to simplify the process of getting security and IT data onto the CrowdStrike Falcon platform. The product leverages the open observability platform from Cribl, a company backed by investors including CrowdStrike. CrowdStream natively connects any data source to the Falcon platform using Cribl’s observability pipeline, making it easier and more cost-effective to bring data onto the platform. The new offering is expected to accelerate the adoption of CrowdStrike‘s extended detection and response (XDR) and log management technologies, while also facilitating the aggregation of data for AI and machine learning models.
The new offering from CrowdStrike and Cribl, called CrowdStream, simplifies and lowers the cost of bringing security and IT data onto the CrowdStrike Falcon platform. Using the Cribl observability pipeline, CrowdStream natively connects any data source to Falcon, accelerating the adoption of CrowdStrike‘s extended detection and response (XDR) and log management technologies. Additionally, CrowdStream helps aggregate data for the training of AI and machine learning models. This solution provides an efficient way to get valuable data onto the Falcon platform for better threat detection and response.
